Our Mission Statement

Our Mission

The mission of Project New Start, Inc. is to assist men, women and children in achieving their highest potential as they grow to become productive members of society, by providing committed volunteers and a faith based lifestyle according to the precepts and teachings of the Bible.  At Project New Start we are dedicated to offering shelter from the storms of addiction, providing spiritual help, feeding and clothing the hungry, providing a safe haven for abused and neglected children, visiting those who are sick and those who are incarcerated through our rehabilitative homes, jail and nursing home ministries. While developing positive, hopeful attitudes, we also strive to deepen men and women’s commitments to the gospel of Jesus Christ which we believe is essential to leading a joy-filled, contented and productive life in society.

Raising the Standards

As blood bought believers in our Lord and Savior, all Christian disciples should be committed to living and operating above reproach.  As the Bible tells us, in 1 Thessalonians 5:21 & 22; “Prove all things, hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil.”  We must let our lights shine every waking moment to drive the darkness out of the land.  As Jesus said in Matthew 5:14-16: “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill can not be hid. Neither do men light a candle, put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”  At Project New Start, we are committed to followings these teachings of Jesus and these words of the Bible.  As Christians, having our collective lights shining consistently and constantly and also abstaining from all appearance of evil, will succeed in raising standards.  Now is the time for a cooperative effort to bond together in our fight against darkness and to raise the standards for our families, our churches, our lives, our communities, our state and our nation.  The high moral standards taught to us by our mothers and fathers, our schools and our churches have been eroding for many years because of  unscriptual teachings and the liberal media.  But as a breach in a wall can be repaired by stone and mortar, the eroding of moral standards can be repaired by dedicating ourselves to and following God’s Word.  The time has come to stand shoulder to shoulder, in unity with a single-minded purpose, to once again achieve moral clarity and raise the standards for each person, each family and each community.
